Retail Manager / Store Manager

Work Type: Full Time Location: Wentworth Falls NSW 2782 Salary: $79,000 - $79,500 + Superannuation Our client, The Lemon Tree Grocer is seeking an experienced and dynamic store manager to join their growing team. Responsibilities: - Oversee daily store operations - Determine the optional product mix, stock levels and service standard - Order stock weekly and enforce FIFO rotation - Liaise with approved suppliers and contractors - Monitor, record and minimize wastage - Track and record weekly sales and financial transaction - Project sales, set realistic weekly targets, and drive team performance to achieve targets - Analyse financial reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth - Recruit, train and roster staff to ensure adequate coverage based on their availability - Foster teamwork, resolve employee conflicts and create a positive work environment - Conduct staff evaluations and implement professional development initiatives - Maintain store cleanliness, and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards - Prepare and execute in store and online promotions and seasonal campaigns - Maintain all equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent disruptions - Develop strategies to boost sales and reduce operational costs - Monitor and control budgets to maintain profitability To qualify for this role, you must have: - Prior experience in a similar role - Exhibit a positive attitude, good team spirit, and ability to work effectively under pressure - Exhibit excellent communication, organisational, time and resource management skills
