Our client is a highly regarded Tier 1 construction company with a strong reputation for delivering landmark projects across Queensland. With a diverse portfolio spanning high-rise residential, commercial, health, education and mixed-use developments, they continue to secure major projects throughout South East Queensland.
Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Contract Administrator to join their Gold Coast team.

Your new role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful commercial delivery of major construction projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Procurement and tendering of subcontract packages
Preparation and administration of subcontract agreements
Assessment and processing of subcontractor progress claims
Management of variations and EOT claims
Cost control, budgeting and forecasting
Preparation of monthly financial reports
Contract administration from procurement through to final account
Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience as a Contract Administrator with a head contractor
Experience delivering commercial, residential, mixed-use or high-rise projects
Strong understanding of procurement, contract administration and cost management
Experience managing subcontractor packages, variations and project forecasting
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline
