Tribunal Coordinator | 6-month contract with possible extension

An established organisation is seeking a Tribunal Coordinator to join a high-performing team supporting the management of complex referrals and assessment processes. Working within a structured and process-driven environment, you will play a key role in ensuring matters are progressed efficiently, stakeholders are supported, and legislative and procedural requirements are met.

Your new role

As a Tribunal Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing an allocated portfolio of matters from receipt through to final outcome. You will oversee the coordination of assessment processes, ensure compliance with relevant requirements, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing an assigned caseload and ensuring matters progress within required timeframes.
  • Reviewing referrals and supporting documentation to confirm all requirements have been met.
  • Coordinating administrative activities associated with assessment and review processes.
  • Liaising with stakeholders regarding process requirements, case progression and outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records within electronic case management systems.
  • Reviewing reports and documentation to ensure accuracy, quality and completeness.
  • Identifying potential risks or sensitive matters and escalating where appropriate.
  • Providing advice and guidance regarding relevant legislative and procedural requirements.
  • Supporting continuous improvement through accurate documentation and process adherence.


What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience interpreting legislation, policies, procedures or regulatory frameworks.
  • Previous experience managing caseloads or coordinating workflow-driven processes.
  • Strong administrative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to build effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience working with electronic records, databases or case management systems.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach to handling enquiries and sensitive matters.
Highly regarded experience includes:

  • Workers' compensation, insurance, claims management or rehabilitation experience.
  • Previous exposure to a tribunal, regulatory, legal or compliance environment.
  • Experience working within a legislation-driven or highly governed framework.
