Retail Manager

Pay: AU$75,000.00 – AU$85,000.00 per year Job description: This position is advertised on behalf of and authorised by San Valentino About Us: San Valentino is seeking a full-time Retail Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily retail operations, leading staff, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the store achieves its sales and operational objectives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff coordination. Manage, motivate, and supervise retail staff, including allocating duties, preparing rosters, and monitoring performance. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and improve store performance. Maintain high standards of customer service and handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally. Monitor stock levels, coordinate ordering and replenishment of merchandise, and minimise stock losses. Ensure effective merchandising, product displays, and promotional activities are implemented. Manage store budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare sales and operational reports. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies, and retail procedures. Train and support employees in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service standards. Liaise with suppliers and service providers to support efficient store operations. Skills and Experience Requirements: Relevant qualification in Retail Management, Business Management, Commerce, or a related field; or at least three years of relevant retail management experience. Proven experience managing a retail store or supervising a retail team. Strong leadership and staff management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues effectively. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
