You'll be joining a large public sector organisation dedicated to creating connected, sustainable, and inclusive communities. This role will play an important part in coordinating and delivering consistent business support services to the relevant Section.




Your new role

  • Lead and role model customer focus by treating all internal and external customers with honesty, fairness, sensitivity and dignity.
  • Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the team by providing high-level business support and advice through the utilisation of corporate computer systems.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of general administration officers within the team.
  • Maintain the team's internal systems data in consultation with team members.
  • Assist the Section Manager to compile and collate monthly reports to include project status, financial, human resources and systems issues.
  • Provide analysis and investigation support as directed by the Section Manager or General Manager.




What you'll need to succeed

  • Ability to contribute to team direction, give and receive feedback and achieve agreed performance standards in order to contribute to a culture of performance excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of business support, including the production of business-related reports.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, preparation of correspondence and reports
  • Ability to work in a team environment and an ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in accordance with financial, administrative, human resource, and management procedures.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service in a customer-oriented business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and in a team environment, including the ability to manage, priorities and coordinate work to meet tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience with SAP ECC / ARIBA / S/4 HANA / Microsoft Suite
