Brazco International at Port of Brisbane, QLD, is an established importer and wholesaler of general merchandise and fast-moving consumer goods, supplying more than 3,000 retailers across Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific region. The business started out in 1995 making and supplying frames and mirrors for the local market, and the reputation it earned for dependable quality carried it into a far broader wholesale range. Today it carries more than 5,000 products across kitchen and household, cleaning and consumables, personal care, seasonal, stationery, outdoor, pet and toy categories, many of them under its own brands, sourced through trade partners in Asia, the Americas and Europe. With in-house designers who help take products from concept to shelf and a buying team drawn from retail, Brazco works closely with national chains, pharmacies, hardware stores and gift retailers, who place their orders through its online trade portal. Our client is looking for an experienced Multimedia Specialist to join the team.
Multimedia Specialist | Brazco International | Port of Brisbane, QLD 4178
Key Duties:
• Photograph, retouch, cut out and colour-correct product images and in-house design renders so that every line is presented accurately across Brazco's digital catalogue, website and trade channels.
• Shoot, edit and produce short product demonstration videos, how-to clips and unboxing content, recording and mixing voice-over, music and sound effects to suit each product range.
• Design the visual and interactive look of Brazco's online catalogue and product pages, combining creative layout, typography and imagery with scripting and animation techniques so that content displays well across devices and platforms.
• Create animated banners, motion graphics and 2D and 3D product animations for new arrivals, seasonal ranges and own-brand launches.
• Prepare image, video and audio files and integrate them with the scripting and page code that present them, so multimedia content loads correctly and stays current on the website and trade portal.
• Design interactive digital catalogues, range presentations and sell-in decks for the sales and buying teams to use in meetings with national retail buyers and at trade shows.
• Develop interactive promotional content, such as seasonal challenges, that builds interest in the Christmas, Easter, summer and winter ranges.
• Liaise with Brazco's network and hosting specialists on the security, hosting and storage space needed for multimedia files, user access to the digital asset library, and the backup and recovery of image and video content so it can be restored quickly after an outage.
• Contribute to Brazco's online content strategy by assessing how retailers engage with product imagery, video and digital catalogues, and help plan the multimedia methods, tools and production schedule for each season.
• Work with the in-house product designers to turn packaging artwork and new product concepts into 3D renders, mock-ups and visual presentations that support pre-launch sell-in to retail customers.
• Produce social media content, including short-form video, reels, carousels and motion graphics, that showcases Brazco's ranges and its own brands.
• Design email newsletter graphics and digital flyers that announce new arrivals, promotions and seasonal ranges to trade customers.
• Build and maintain a digital asset library of product photography, video, logos and artwork, organised by brand and category, for the sales team and retail customers to draw on for their own catalogues and online stores.
• Supply retail customers with correctly sized, formatted and compressed product images and video files to suit their own websites, catalogues and in-store screens.
• Set up multimedia templates and visual guidelines so imagery, video and motion content stay consistent across Brazco and its house brands.
• Look after the photography and video set-up, including lighting, cameras and editing equipment, and plan shoot schedules around new stock arriving at the Port of Brisbane warehouse.
• Keep up to date with multimedia software, animation and video techniques, and recommend new tools or approaches that would lift the quality of Brazco's product content.
