Are you an experienced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable professional looking to join a successful and growing business? Our client is a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Burleigh Heads, recognised for its quality products, strong customer relationships, and collaborative team culture. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Officer to support the finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business where your contribution will be valued, and you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's finance function.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end accounts payable processing
- Supplier reconciliations and payment runs
- Processing and allocating customer receipts
- Managing customer accounts and collections activities
- Preparing and issuing invoices and credit notes
- Investigating and resolving account discrepancies
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data integrity
- Responding to supplier and customer queries in a professional manner
- Assisting with month-end reporting and finance administration
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Strong reconciliation and data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and processes
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
