Quinns Rocks, Perth WA, Full Time, Trades & Services Vacancy Listing Dates 5/10/2026 to 2/11/2026 Please Quote Reference Number 17672 - Skilled Wall and Floor Tilers required - Full time opportunity: Monday-Friday - Join the team at K&B Home Developments Pty Ltd K&B Home Developments Pty Ltd are currently seeking skilled Wall and Floor Tilers to join their team in Quinns Rocks, Perth full time. Duties and Responsibilities: - Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications. - Measure and mark out work areas and establish layout lines and levels. - Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, and applying waterproofing systems. - Layout, cut, and shape tiles to required dimensions using appropriate tools and equipment. - Lay ceramic, clay, slate, marble, glass, and other types of tiles using appropriate adhesives and mortar. - Apply grout, sealants, and finishes to tiled surfaces ensuring a professional and water-resistant finish. - Ensure tiling work is correctly aligned, level, plumb, and finished to the required standard. - Install and construct decorative borders, patterns, and custom tiling elements in accordance with plans. - Carry out restoration, repair, and maintenance of existing tiled surfaces where required. - Work safely around other construction trades and coordinate activities with supervisors and other site personnel. - Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition. - Comply with workplace health and safety requirements, site procedures, and relevant Australian building standards. - Identify and report construction issues, defects, hazards, or material requirements to the supervisor. - Perform other related tiling and general construction duties as reasonably required. To be successful, applicants must hold a relevant trade qualification in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent, and have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience as a Tiler, preferably within residential or commercial construction. Applicants must also have: - Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. - Competent in surface preparation, waterproofing application, and tile cutting techniques. - Ability to accurately measure, set out, and lay tiles to required levels, lines, and specifications. - Relevant Australian licences, tickets, or White Card requirements where applicable. Our ideal applicant will be: - Reliable, safety-conscious, and possessing strong attention to detail. - Committed to quality workmanship with the physical capacity to perform demanding construction work (lifting materials and working outdoors). - Background in residential and/or commercial construction. Experience working on Australian construction projects is advantageous, but overseas candidates with relevant trade experience are highly suitable.
