Restaurant Manager – Thai Restaurant Position: Restaurant Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Hospitality – Thai Restaurant Our client, an established Thai restaurant, is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. The successful candidate will have strong hospitality management experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead a team in a busy restaurant environment. Previous experience in Thai or Asian cuisine restaurants will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities - Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth service - Lead, supervise and support front-of-house staff - Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient food and beverage service - Manage staff rosters, training and performance - Maintain high standards of customer service and handle customer enquiries or concerns professionally - Monitor restaurant presentation, cleanliness and service standards - Manage stock levels, ordering and supplier relationships - Assist with budgeting, cost control and operational performance - Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, liquor licensing and workplace health and safety requirements - Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members - Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, staff and suppliers Requirements - Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar hospitality management position - Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field is highly regarded - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment - Good understanding of restaurant operations, stock management and cost control - Strong organisational and problem-solving skills - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required - Experience in a Thai or Asian restaurant environment will be highly regarded Employer-sponsored visa opportunities may be available for a suitable candidate, subject to the candidate meeting the employer’s requirements and all applicable skills, English language, work experience and visa eligibility criteria.
