Commercial Housekeeper

Pay: A$68,000 - A$75,000 per year plus superannuation Job description: Our client, Breeze Homes Pty Ltd, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Commercial Housekeeper to support the day-to-day housekeeping operations of its accommodation facility in Cairns, Queensland. Position: Commercial Housekeeper Job Responsibilities: Cleans, vacuums and mops floors, makes beds, and restocks mini bars and bathroom supplies in hotel and motel rooms and other commercial premises. Duties: • Plan and coordinate housekeeping activities. • Inspect guest rooms, common areas and facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained. • Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory. • Coordinate room preparation and servicing schedules. • Identify and report maintenance and repair requirements. • Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and effectively. • Maintain housekeeping records and reports. • Assist in implementing housekeeping procedures and quality standards. • Liaise with management and other staff to ensure smooth operations. • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. Qualification Requirements: • AQF Certificate II, Certificate III or higher qualification in Hospitality, Accommodation Services, Housekeeping Operations or a related field. • At least one year of relevant post-qualification experience in housekeeping, accommodation services or a similar role.
