Solid Plasterer

VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced Solid Plasterer to be a part of our client’s business Goraya Painting & Rendering Pty Ltd in Beveridge. The successful applicant will undertake a range of solid plastering and rendering work, from preparing surfaces through to applying and finishing render to the required standard. Key Responsibilities: - Preparing internal and external surfaces ready for rendering and solid plastering - Mixing and applying plaster, cement and render to walls and other building surfaces - Applying base and finishing coats and levelling, screeding and smoothing surfaces to achieve the required thickness and finish - Forming and straightening corners, angles, edges and wall surfaces - Applying decorative, textured and other finishing coats as required - Repairing cracks, damaged render and deteriorated plaster or cement surfaces - Fitting and finishing plaster mouldings, cornices and related plaster features where required - Checking completed work for finish and quality and carrying out necessary rectification - Maintaining a clean and safe work area and following workplace health and safety requirements Requirements: - Relevant trade qualification in Solid Plastering, such as an AQF Certificate III in Solid Plastering, or an equivalent relevant qualification - Minimum one year of relevant work experience as a Solid Plasterer, Renderer or in a closely related role - Practical experience preparing surfaces and mixing, applying and finishing plaster, cement and render - Ability to achieve consistent levels, edges, corners and high-quality finished surfaces - Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a construction team - Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements Remuneration: $80,000.00 + superannuation Location: 6 Willowleaf St, Beveridge VIC 3753 Applicants who meet the above requirements are invited to submit their resume and details of their relevant qualifications and experience.
