Hays is partnering with a leading construction contractor delivering a major project in Goulburn. With work commencing in November, we are seeking experienced Rigger/Operators to join the project for an initial 12-week assignment. This role offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work on a major construction project.

Your new role

CW4 Rigger / Operator
$58.00-62.00 per hour (full inclusive rate)
As a key member of the site team, you will support lifting operations, equipment movements, and general construction activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety and productivity.
Duties may include:

• Performing rigging activities on a major construction project
• Assisting with crane and lifting operations
• Coordinating safe movement of materials and equipment
• Working closely with site supervisors and construction teams
• Maintaining compliance with all site safety requirements

Roster: Monday to Friday
Hours: 10-hour days (50 hours per week)
Location: Goulburn
Duration: Initial 12-week project commencing in November.

What you'll need to succeed

• Current Rigging Ticket (essential)
• Working at Heights Ticket (essential)
• Previous experience as a Rigger / Operator on construction projects
• Ability to provide a recent working reference from within the last 6 months
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• C2 Crane Licence advantageous
• Reliable transport and ability to commute to the Goulburn project location
• Full Australian working rights
