Hays is partnering with a leading construction contractor delivering a major project in Goulburn. With work commencing in November, we are seeking qualified Mechanical Tradespeople to join the project team for an initial 12-week assignment. Offering excellent rates and consistent hours, this is a great opportunity to secure work on a major construction project.

Your new role

CW5 Mechanical Trades
$65.00-75.00 per hour (full inclusive rate)
Working as part of a high-performing site team, you will be responsible for mechanical installation, assembly, maintenance and commissioning activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
Duties may include:

• Mechanical installation and assembly works
• Equipment and plant maintenance activities
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Working collaboratively with supervisors and other trades
• Maintaining site safety and quality standards

Roster: Monday to Friday
Hours: 10-hour days (50 hours per week)
Location: Goulburn
Duration: Initial 12-week project commencing November

What you'll need to succeed

• Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Previous experience in a mechanical trade role within construction, industrial or infrastructure environments
• Ability to provide a recent working reference from within the last 6 months
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable transport and ability to commute to the Goulburn project location
• Full Australian working rights
