We are looking for a Metal Fabricator and a Welder (First Class) / Welder to join our team. The company handles projects from initial consultation and design through to production and installation. . POSITION DETAILS: Location: Bibra Lake WA 6163 Employment type: Full-time Salary: $79,435-$80,000 Roster: 38 hours per week . THE ROLES (2): . METAL FABRICATOR: . EMPLOYMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: • Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments • Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding • Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions • Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements • Maintain accurate records relevant to the role • Communicate effectively with team members and management • Follow all workplace policies, procedures and safety requirements . SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Certificate III including at least one year of relevant experience, or Certificate IV. At least 3 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualification. • Relevant experience may also be required. . WELDER (FIRST CLASS) / WELDER: . EMPLOYMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: • Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments • Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding • Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions • Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements • Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently • Interpret plans and work orders and complete job documentation • Carry out installation, maintenance and repair work to specification . SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Certificate III including at least one year of relevant experience, or Certificate IV. At least 3 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualification. • Relevant experience may also be required. .
