Key Responsibilities:
• Utilise specialised techniques to erect lifting tackles, ensuring secure attachment of pulleys and blocks to overhead structures. Install cables and apply counterweights for balance and stability during lifting operations.
• Affix slinging gear to hoisting equipment and objects, employing clamps, hooks, bolts, and knots for secure fastening and proper alignment to facilitate safe movement and handling.
• Assemble scaffolding bases and structures by fitting and securing tubes, support braces, and components, meticulously following specifications, and safety protocols.
• Safely lift and position scaffolding sections into place, ensuring accurate alignment and stability to support construction activities effectively.
• Utilise precise measurements and cutting techniques to fit welded wire mesh seamlessly into concrete areas, reinforcing them for enhanced strength and durability.
• Securely fix mesh and reinforcing steel within formwork for concrete pours, ensuring proper positioning and alignment to meet structural requirements.
• Expertly set up winches and rigging equipment to raise and position steel units such as girders, plates, and columns, adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines.
• Install necessary safety measures, including guardrails, guy wires, ropes, and clearances, while also laying planks and deploying safety nets to create a secure working environment and prevent accidents or falls.
Requirements:
• Proven at least 2 years of experience as a Scaffolder with expertise
• Sound knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work orders accurately.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
