Your New Role
As an Infrastructure Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing end-to-end infrastructure solutions that align with both business and technical requirements.
Working closely with customers, sales teams, technical specialists, technology vendors, and delivery teams, you will be responsible for developing integrated, commercially viable solutions that support enterprise-scale environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with customers to understand business requirements, technical challenges, and strategic objectives.
- Designing and architecting enterprise solutions across networking, storage, cloud, and data centre technologies.
- Leading technical workshops, customer presentations, solution reviews, and product demonstrations.
- Preparing solution proposals, architecture designs, BOMs, technical documentation, and tender submissions.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and technology partners throughout the solution life cycle.
- Ensuring solutions are technically sound, commercially competitive, and aligned with customer expectations.
- Identifying project and solution risks while recommending practical mitigation strategies.
- Supporting implementation teams with architectural guidance and technical oversight.
- Keeping abreast of emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive solutions.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in Infrastructure Architecture, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, cloud platforms, storage solutions, and data centre infrastructure.
- Experience designing end-to-end infrastructure solutions within enterprise or large-scale environments.
- The ability to translate customer requirements into scalable and commercially effective technology solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working collaboratively with customers, sales teams, technical specialists, partners, and delivery teams.
Highly regarded:
- Experience across networking, cloud, cybersecurity, hybrid infrastructure, or data centre solutions.
- Industry certifications such as AWS, Azure, VMware, Cisco, TOGAF, or equivalent.
- Experience working with enterprise customers, managed service providers, technology vendors, or system integrators.
