Hays is currently Seeking two experienced Warehouse Officers to join a well-established mining Operation in the Mount Isa region. This is an excellent opportunity for Procurement and supply professionals looking for a stable Monday to Friday Roster within a fast-paced mining environment.

About the RoleWorking within the site supply team, you will play a key role in ensuring critical materials, consumables and services are procured and delivered to support ongoing mining operations


Key Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Resolve order and delivery discrepancies
• Expedite urgent and critical orders
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management
• Conduct stock takes and inventory checks as required
• Maintain accurate purchasing records within the ERP system
• Assist with consumables and reagent stock monitoring
• Provide support for over-the-counter stock requests when required

About You

To be successful in This role, you will have:

• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain roles
• Experience within mining, heavy industry, manufacturing or a similar environment highly regarded
• Experience using Pronto or another ERP system
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Current residence in Mount Isa or Cloncurry
