Through Skillinvest, this position with the Horsham Rural City Council will provide an opportunity to succeed in this trade through a great team environment, the love of the outdoors and hands on work. You will be mentored through each step but also given freedom to grow in your passion. We have a strong local commitment to our region and wish to provide outstanding facilities to our community.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Maintain lawns and gardens through regular mowing, planting, and weeding.
• Creating and maintaining public spaces
• Ensure plant health by watering, pruning, and addressing signs of disease.
• Use, maintain and clean gardening tools and equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
• General property maintenance as required

IS THIS YOU?

• Enjoy physical outdoor work
• Positive attitude and committed to work & study
• Willingness to learn use of hand power tools, whipper snippers and sprayers.
• Must obtain a Police Check and Working With Children's Check
