The Company
This privately owned civil contractor delivers earthworks, road construction, underground services and civil infrastructure projects across metropolitan Adelaide, with a strong pipeline and repeat clients.
As the business grows, they’re looking for someone who can support the Project Managers now and develop towards managing their own projects over time.
It’s a practical, hands-on team built around clear communication, solid planning and “get it done” delivery. You’ll be supported by an experienced team who know how the jobs come together and want to help you build your career the right way.

The Role
- Assist the PMs with project planning, programming and coordination of upcoming works
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to follow up requirements and keep agreed tasks progressing
- Support procurement, subcontractor scopes, documentation and compliance records
- Prepare, submit and follow up progress claims
- Assess and track variations, collecting supporting information and preparing documentation for review
- Assist with contract notices, extensions of time and commercial correspondence
- Maintain RFIs and project registers and follow up outstanding information and approvals
- Support cost tracking, forecasting, invoice approvals and monthly reporting
- Keep project deadlines, contractual obligations and outstanding actions visible to the PMs
The Criteria
- Around three years of civil construction experience across SA Civil Projects
- Experience supporting project delivery, procurement, costs, claims or variations
- Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential
- Organised, willing to learn and ready to take on broader responsibilities
