The Company

Family-owned SA civil contractor with over 30 years’ experience delivering infrastructure projects across the state.  They deliver a mix of DIT, council and private works including roads, drainage, pavements, subdivisions and general civil packages.

The Role

• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and delivery plans
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors with the site team
• Manage procurement, subcontractor scopes and supplier requirements
• Monitor costs, forecast expenditure and report on project performance
• Manage progress claims, variations, contractual notices and extensions of time
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities and subcontractors
• Work with Site Supervisors to resolve construction issues and maintain progress
• Oversee project safety, quality and environmental requirements
• Maintain accurate project reporting and commercial documentation
• Manage completion, defects, handover and final account requirements

    
The Criteria

• Experience managing civil construction projects from start to finish, preferably in the local Adelaide market, but open to interstate experience
• A strong background across roads, drainage, pavements and general civil works
• Experience delivering DIT, council or similar infrastructure projects
• Confidence managing project budgets, programmes, procurement and contracts
