About the Role
An opportunity for an experienced interim CFO to support a well-known Australian business. This is a short-term interim contract supporting the business through transformation while continuing to lead core finance, IT, payroll and inventory/logistics functions. Immediate start required.

Responsibilities

  • Own cash flow management, visibility and forecasting in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain financial governance, reporting integrity and month-end/statutory processes
  • Provide leadership continuity across finance, IT, payroll and inventory/logistics
  • Partner closely with the CEO and Board
  • Act as a credible financial counterpart to the private equity owners
  • Support due diligence, data room and management presentation activity as required
  • Maintain oversight of ongoing systems and inventory improvement projects

The Successful Applicant

  • CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
  • Genuine debt and equity experience
  • Prior experience supporting a business through transformation
  • Comfortable with stock and inventory operating environments
  • Able to step in immediately and establish credibility fast, with minimal handover
