Our client is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join their practice on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified eye care professional to deliver comprehensive optometric services to a diverse patient base. The role offers a competitive salary of up to $125,000 + Super (experience dependant) and the chance to work in a supportive clinical environment where patient care and professional development are valued.
 

• Deliver comprehensive eye examinations, prescribe corrective lenses, and diagnose common eye conditions

Preferred Requirements

• Current registration with the Optometry Board of Australia or equivalent regulatory body
• Proven experience conducting eye examinations and prescribing corrective lenses
• Strong clinical knowledge of common eye conditions and their management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients
• Proficiency with optometric equipment and electronic patient records systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Optometry or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
• Current CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accreditation or commitment to maintaining professional standards
• Additional qualifications in contact lens fitting or specialised eye care areas are advantageous
