About the Position

Take ownership of a busy bar operation and become a key part of the venue’s leadership team. You’ll lead the bar team, manage day-to-day operations, maintain service standards, and drive the customer experience. Position Description

• Manage the day-to-day bar operation
• Lead, train and motivate the bar team
• Manage rosters, staffing and labour
• Oversee stock, ordering and beverage costs
• Maintain service, presentation and compliance standards
• Monitor sales and bar performance
• Develop beverage offerings, promotions and specials
• Work closely with senior management
• Be hands-on during busy service periods

Position Requirements

• Previous Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager or senior supervisory experience
• Experience in a busy pub, club, hotel or similar venue
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Sound knowledge of cocktails and wines
• Strong customer service focus
• RSA and RCG
• Strong cash handling skills
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends
