Position Overview: Nazero One Pty Ltd – Nazero creates long-term value through an integrated approach to residential development, construction, development management and remedial works. As a Construction Estimator at Nazero One Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for preparing construction estimates and cost plans, assessing project requirements, obtaining and evaluating trade pricing, and supporting tender preparation and settlement across residential construction projects. This position requires strong analytical ability, commercial awareness, attention to detail and effective coordination with project stakeholders. Responsibilities and Tasks: • Review architectural, structural and services drawings, project specifications and tender documentation to determine the scope, construction requirements and cost inputs for Nazero’s residential projects. • Prepare detailed estimates and cost plans covering labour, materials, plant, subcontractor packages, preliminaries and other construction costs for low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise developments. • Undertake site visits and review existing site conditions, access constraints and project-specific requirements to support accurate estimating and tender assumptions. • Source, compare and assess quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, clarify inclusions and exclusions, and support commercial negotiations to achieve competitive project pricing. • Liaise with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers and construction teams to resolve documentation queries and confirm technical and commercial requirements. • Prepare and present tender cost breakdowns, budgets and value-management options, identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency while maintaining project quality and design intent. • Assist with tender preparation, submission, clarification and settlement, ensuring pricing schedules and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and aligned with project requirements. • Maintain estimating records, cost databases, supplier and subcontractor pricing information, and historical project data to support reliable benchmarking across future residential projects. • Analyse tender risks, allowances, provisional sums and scope gaps, and clearly document assumptions to support informed commercial decisions before project award. • Support handover of successful tenders to project delivery teams by communicating budgets, trade scopes, pricing assumptions and key procurement considerations. Qualifications and Skills: • Relevant qualification. • Minimum 1 year experience as a Construction Estimator • Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and tender documentation. • Sound knowledge of construction estimating, cost planning, tendering and procurement processes. • Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills with high attention to detail. • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills when working with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 – $85,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
