Your new role
The SAP Asset Data Analyst supports the Asset Data Collection and Acquisition team in delivering priority SAP and asset information activities across Asset Management.
The role is responsible for supporting asset data capture and collection, processing SAP transactions, maintaining asset records, validating asset information, resolving data and system issues, and providing practical guidance and training to stakeholders across operational asset areas.

The position contributes to SAP/S/4HANA benefits realisation, asset data quality uplift and the provision of reliable asset information to support asset planning, performance monitoring and evidence-based decision-making.

Required skills and experience:
Proven experience using SAP Enterprise Asset Management (SAP The successful candidate will have:
  • Practical experience using SAP/S/4HANA or SAP within an asset management, maintenance or asset information environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in asset information management, asset data collection, data maintenance and data validation.
  • Experience performing SAP transactions associated with asset information and/or asset management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to review, validate and reconcile asset data and identify data quality issues.
  • Experience investigating and resolving SAP, process and data-related issues.
  • Understanding of asset information life cycle requirements and the importance of accurate asset data to operational and strategic asset management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Experience working with operational, field, technical and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain SAP processes and data requirements to users with different levels of system knowledge.
  • Experience providing end-user support, coaching or training.
  • Ability to work across multiple priorities and progress data activities within agreed timeframes.
